In a world where everything changes fast, competition is intense, and expectations are high — is it possible to maintain inner balance?
Stoicism teaches us to approach things outside our control with calm and take responsibility only for what’s within our power. But how realistic is this in an environment of endless emails and back-to-back meetings?
My answer: Yes, but it’s not easy.
When you dedicate hours to a project and get no recognition, face conflict within a team, or feel overwhelmed by uncertainty, asking yourself “Is this within my control?” can make a real difference.
It’s not an escape — it’s a mindset. And I believe that mindset brings not only personal peace but professional productivity too.
